Calmonbliss is operated by Sewoong Lee. This notice describes the current website at calmonbliss.com and its Cloudflare Pages deployment.

Your game

You can play without an account. The chess position, move history, board annotations, and display settings are held in the current page's memory. They are not stored in a player account or sent to a remote chess engine. Stockfish calculates its replies in your browser.

The game does not currently use cookies or browser local storage to save your progress. Reloading or closing the page clears the current game. Your browser may cache downloaded website files to load them faster on later visits.

Hosting and security

Loading the website sends ordinary web requests to its hosting provider. These requests can include your IP address, the requested URL, browser information, referrer information, and the time of the request. Hosting providers process request information to deliver files, operate their services, and protect against abuse.

Cloudflare hosts the Pages deployment. The custom domain is being moved from Vercel to Cloudflare, so Vercel may also handle requests during that transition. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Vercel Privacy Notice for information about those providers' practices.

Advertising and analytics

No advertising or analytics scripts are currently enabled on this site. The AdSense account verification tag and ads.txt file identify the publisher for site setup; they do not load advertisements or set advertising cookies.

Advertising is being set up through Google AdSense. If Google ads are enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies to select ads based on your visits to this website and other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow it and its partners to personalize those ads.

You can manage personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center. You can also use YourAdChoices to opt out of personalized advertising from participating vendors. Learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites.

Before ads are enabled, the site will provide the applicable consent and privacy choices. Google’s consent message has been selected with options to consent, refuse consent, or manage options. This notice will be updated when advertising begins.

If you contact us

If you send an email, the operator receives your email address and anything you include in the message. This information is used to respond to your request and investigate issues you report. You can request deletion of your correspondence by contacting the same address.
