Particles in Korean
Choose the form, not the meaning
A final consonant at the bottom of a Korean syllable is called batchim. The last syllable of the word determines which form to use.
Change the meaning
Compare a basic statement with “too” and “only.” Choose an example to see all three meanings.
In these examples, “too” adds the person or thing before the particle. “Only” limits the statement to that person or thing.
